Diet catering providers are one of several industries that are increasingly using third-party delivery optimization and route planning services for their drivers. Automating these processes brings financial benefits and time savings, and therefore has a direct impact on company profitability. According to the manufacturer of the AutoMapa #lastmile solution, the number of deliveries optimized for caterers has increased more than 30-fold since the beginning of the year, and the total length of routes mapped is now more than 2.2 million kilometers per month.

If the routes are converted into the cost of fuel, then at today's prices at the stations we would have an amount of more than 1.5 million zlotys. And this, as we know, is only a fraction of the total cost. It is easy to count the benefit of optimizing routes by even 5%, and our customers often have average savings from optimization significantly exceeding 10%

AutoMapa #lastmile features are constantly being developed based on the needs reported by a rapidly growing group of users. Software updates are released several times a month, and the first update in December includes the much-awaited offline functionality, which allows users to keep data, such as a photo or a note from a delivery location, in the application without an Internet connection.

This is a common problem when a supplier - always in a hurry - hits a network outage and, without a connection to the server, cannot complete the order and attach the delivery documentation. In the latest version, the data is saved in the application and is automatically synchronized when the connection is restored.
