Order is a must! A new feature in navigation, available not only for spring...
We're arranging our space, sorting clothes and books on shelves by color, sorting catalogs and emails and even app icons on our phone. There are tutorials and "life hacks" on how to make something smarter and better arranged, and anything that makes it easier is generating interest. Especially now, because spring is coming - the season of cleaning!
We are noticing such a trend also among users of our navigation ," says Magda Buchalska, brand development director at AutoMapa, " Drivers also increasingly value support in the area of organization. They are looking for those functions that support a person, remembering, arranging, organizing and adjusting to personal preferences."
Following this lead, and after analyzing the behavior and needs of drivers, AutoMapa has prepared a new "housekeeping" function and are introducing it in AutoMapa navigation just in the spring.
Attention, drivers - clean up in "Favorites" - time to start!
Adding Favorite points to personal app settings is the norm. They facilitate routing to frequently visited places. A few months ago, AutoMapa introduced voice-activated navigation to the most frequently used Favorites, such as Home, Work, Kindergarten, Plot or Workout. You say "navigate home" and go.
Now there is a new, expanded function for creating Favorite Collections, i.e. managing one's points and segregating them thematically and by color, divided into their own categories. Everyone creates his collections - collections; he colors and names them as he wants. Order for everyone means something different, but you know - it's always about convenience.
How do you build your collection?
You can create a new collection by selecting from the application's home screen: Search (magnifying glass)-> Favorites -> + Add Collection [Figure 1] or from the Add Favorites window [Figure 2]:
Collections can be edited and deleted, and points added in them can be hidden and shown on the map [You can hide/show points from a collection on the map by selecting: Search (magnifying glass) -> Favorites -> long-tap on collection -> Visible].
To the right of the name, it displays how many Favorites points are available within the collection.A value of zero means that the catalog is still empty.
As befits a spring feature - there are fabulous colors to choose from [fig. 3], which - also visually - put the points in AutoMapa in order.
